Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic with expertise in luxury and sports vehicles. The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining luxury and performance vehicles, including brands like Lamborghini's, Range Rover, Land Rover, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche, and others. This role requires advanced mechanical knowledge, specialized training, and an in-depth understanding of automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnosis & Repair:

Perform comprehensive diagnostics on luxury and sports cars to identify mechanical, electrical, and system issues. Repair and replace parts in complex systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, and electrical components. Handle both routine maintenance and complex repairs, ensuring all work meets the highest standards.

Advanced Troubleshooting:

Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software specific to luxury and sports cars to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Stay up-to-date on the latest technological advancements and repair techniques used in automotive systems.

Customer Service & Consultation:

Work closely with clients to explain the nature of issues, required repairs, and maintenance recommendations in a clear and professional manner. Provide expert advice on vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and vehicle care for luxury and sports cars.

Supervision & Mentorship:

Lead and mentor a team of junior mechanics and apprentices in performing repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on luxury and sports vehicles. Train and share knowledge on best practices and new technologies specific to luxury and sports cars.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure that all repairs and services are performed according to the manufacturer's specifications and industry standards. Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations, ensuring that all work is performed in a safe, clean, and compliant manner.

Parts and Inventory Management:

Maintain an inventory of high-quality OEM and aftermarket parts specific to luxury and sports vehicles. Order and manage parts for repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective service.

Continual Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing training and certification programs related to the latest advancements in luxury and sports automotive technology. Stay informed about manufacturer recalls, updates, and new repair methods for luxury and sports car brands.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Automotive Technology or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience working on luxury and sports cars (e.g., Lamborghini's, Range Rover, Land Rover, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche, and others). In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques for luxury and sports cars. Familiarity with specialized diagnostic tools, software, and equipment used for luxury and sports cars. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers in a professional and courteous manner. ASE certification or similar automotive certifications are highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in confined spaces and use hand tools and diagnostic equipment for extended periods. Comfortable working in various workshop environments, including exposure to noise, heat, and occasional harsh conditions.
