Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve materials, mix designs, and test reports to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards. Supervise material sampling, testing, and quality control activities at site and laboratory. Evaluate and approve alternative materials proposed by contractors, ensuring technical suitability and sustainability. Maintain material tracking, approval logs, and ensure documentation is in accordance with QA/QC requirements. Provide technical advice to the project team regarding material performance, durability, and sourcing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Materials / Construction Engineering. Minimum 20 years of experience in materials engineering for infrastructure or construction projects. In-depth knowledge of ASTM, BS, AASHTO, and relevant material testing standards. Experience in concrete technology, asphalt, aggregates, and soil classification/testing. Certification in quality control or materials testing (e.g., ACI, QMS ISO 9001) preferred.
