Job Title: Senior Manager (Finance and Accounting)

Job summary: We are seeking a Senior Manager (Finance and Accounting) for a prominent Wine distribution company based in Dubai, preferably a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 \xe2\x80\x93 7 years of experience or Semi Qualified CA with 7 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years of experience.

About the Organization:

The company has been actively engaged in the import and distribution of wines and spirits for the past 45+ years. Holding distributorship rights with prominent companies, it currently enjoys partnerships with various international entities.

Location: Dubai

Roles and responsibility:

• Overseeing P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and Cash Flow management.
• Leading the entire finance function, ensuring compliance, and governance through established procedures.
• Managing all aspects of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation.
• Conducting closures of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.
• Implementing effective methods to track revenue and expenses.
• Providing advice on financing options to facilitate organizational growth.
• Handling various finance-related activities, including financial accounting, expense control, tax matters, and accounts finalization.
• Managing funds, cash flow, tax, budget, and financial control/reporting.
• Ensuring satisfactory statutory and internal audits, framing guidelines for MIS and reporting, and expert tax reporting.
• Demonstrating expertise in Taxation (Income Tax & VAT).
• Conducting banking transactions with different financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant / Semi \xe2\x80\x93 Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience post-articleship.
• Solid expertise in accounting and finance.
• Strong problem-solving orientation to address complex financial challenges.
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and governance practices.
• In-depth knowledge of the import and distribution industry, especially in wines and spirits, would be beneficial.
