Masdar is the UAE's clean energy champion and one of the largest companies of its kind in the world, advancing the development and deployment of renewable energy and green hydrogen technologies to address global sustainability challenges. Masdar is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and under this ownership the company is targeting a renewable energy portfolio capacity of at least 100 gigawatts (GW) by 2030 and an annual green hydrogen production capacity of up to 1 million tonnes by the same year.
Purpose for the role:
To lead and manage the performance optimization and technical support activities for Masdar's large-scale projects (solar PV, wind, thermal and energy storage). The role focuses on diagnosing technical issues, enhancing asset reliability, and leveraging data analytics to reduce downtime and improve efficiency ensuring full alignment with the investment business case. The role involves serving as the central point of expertise for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance enhancement across operational and aging renewable energy assets besides sharing operational feedback and findings within the Engineering verticals (Solar PV, Wind, Thermal and Energy Storage, Technology and Infrastructure)
