Senior Manager - Sustainability

The strategy group maps out where we're going, what that means, and what it looks like. Our Research team analyses the industry so that we're never playing catch-up. Design translates strategies into award winning products and experiences. In Program Management, it's more about the delivery of our strategies into realized benefits. And our Corporate Planning team creates strategy so that we're agile enough to respond in a fast-evolving industry.

What you'll deliver

You'll be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance and performance at Dubai International and Al Maktoum International Airport. You will support in the integration of an environmental sustainability strategy within Dubai Airports, collaborating with key stakeholders and regulators. You'll manage initiatives to achieve high environmental, public, and passenger health standards. You will implement a sustainability plan contributing to corporate goals and develop climate change measures for airport operations and projects ensuring consistent reporting on environmental performance and compliance, raising awareness among employees on critical aspects of environmental health and sustainability You'll collaborate with government authorities (GCAA, ICAO), industry bodies (ACI Global), and airport stakeholders (OneDXB Sustainability Alliance) to align sustainability efforts with national and international goals. You'll drive sustainability awareness and training programs for airport employees, contractors, and stakeholders to embed a strong environmental culture.

What you bring

You'll be educated to a degree Level with a specialization in Environmental studies or related. You'll have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in developing sustainable strategy in an airport or aviation industry. You'll have a strong understanding of key airport operations, sustainability processes, and environmental impact assessment methodologies You'll have demonstrated project management expertise, ensuring sustainability projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. You'll have proficiency in translating complex sustainability data into clear, actionable insights for audiences with varying levels of expertise.
