Job Overview: McDermott has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager, Project Controls with Oil & Gas experience. The Senior manager, Project Controls will oversee the overall responsibility for leading and supporting the Cost & Progress Management function in an area.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Responsible for staffing, personnel development and implementation of all Cost & Progress Management systems and practices including cost control, forecasting, change management, progress management and reporting. Works closely with Finance and Area management to ensure timely reporting of financial performance for the area. Assists the Sr. Director of Project Controls in managing the overall project performance management including cost risk assessments, contingency assessments and forecast sensitivity analysis. Essential Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited University 15-20 years of applicable experience (Manager of Project Controls/Cost Control) Oil & Gas Experience Required Strong technical knowledge of the construction work involved, including the ability to use cost and estimating tools/methods/systems. Good knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques and associated software.
