PURPOSE OF ROLE To provide an accurate forecast of future demand (RDP) which maximizes the sales opportunity while minimizing the risk of creating excess inventory. The primary focus is to create alignment between Financial (Sales Planning IBP), Channel, Brand and Supply Planning using the SAP APO environment to harmonise and house this single source of truth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Team Management Establish a high-performance culture via the communication of clear expectations and targets Develop the functional and social competencies of all employees Evaluate the performance and competencies of your employees within the given #MyBest appraisal framework Manage talents within your team to develop their competencies and managing skills to grow within the DP department Responsible for a frictionless collaboration within the team and all other key contacts Establish a cadence of clear interaction between ODP Team and Key Stakeholders (MPBR) Planning (Integrated Business Planning) Work with tactical IBP team to establish seasonal assumptions and guardrails, which will be used as guidance to steer buying decisions and Read & React triggers. Ensure that plans are kept up to date and that cut-off deadlines to product supply are met. Engage with PSI to ensure that supply constraints are understood and factored into planning when relevant Facilitate and steer monthly meetings across finance, marketing, sales and SCM and SLT to sign off plans (MPBR, S&OE) Support Sales and Marketing in monthly reporting and ad hoc requests to support the planning process. Inventory and Buying volume Align on seasonal OTB and buying volume in-take ratios with merchandizing team. Ensure NS to seasonal volume guidance with CTC prior to RMA forecast. Align the monthly buying volume with purchasing prior to each buy cut-off. Manage perfect PR creation, manage 2nd stream Forecast and ensure that POs are converted to plan, managing exceptions Ensure BV are closely linked to IBP and RDP (rolling demand plan) volume. Participate in S&OP process (along with Supply Planning) to review demand against availability, inventory and future supply facilitating (leading) decision making on constraints or open issues. Create outcomes for downstream channels for commercial decision making. Complete inventory simulation to create transparency around buying volumes vs future inventory position and influence inbound phasing of inventory volumes or reflection of outbound sales opportunities to clear excess inventory KEY STAKEHOLDERS
