Senior Manager Learning and Career Development
The Senior Manager-Learning & Career Development is responsible for identifying the future functional skills-based learning strategy for Etihad, including identification of the functional skills and capability development needs across EtihadaEUR(TM)s different workforce segments. Based on these needs, design and implement learning and development solutions that provide upskilling or reskilling opportunities for employees aligned to business needs. Critical to success will be creating a learning culture where employees take accountability for their own development and have easy access to timely and relevant learning opportunities to further their career at Etihad. This role is also responsible for identifying and designing career and learning pathways in partnership with the HR Business Partners for specific workforce segments across the business to ensure Etihad can continue to attract and retain the right talent for the future and better enable internal mobility. This role is directly accountable for driving value for the business through introducing innovative approaches to learning design, delivery and evaluation and partnering with the best in class learning content vendors to enhance Etihad's learning platforms and ensure we are maximising utilisation and adoption. Accountabilities
Design and implement the learning and development strategy that aligns with organizational goals and employee needs. Conduct deep dive analysis by workforce segment to understand future skill and capability requirements & lead the design and delivery of learning pathways by workforce segment across the organization and align with Global Job Architecture. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and external vendors to deliver high-quality learning solutions & ensure that all training programs are scalable and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the workforce. Design skills frameworks/profiles for key job families and appropriate learning pathways in consultation with SMEs & identify best practice in conducting employee skills-based assessments. Source and curate skills-based learning content (e.g., LinkedIn, Udemy, Coursera) & work with the Technical & System Training Team on enhancing the overall LMS employee experience. Collaborate with the People Process, Data and Technology team on the configuration and upload of employee skills profile data in the Talent Intelligence hub & investigate the feasibility of using AI tools to personalise the learning experience for employees. Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning and development programs, using data to continuously improve and optimize training initiatives. Track & report regularly on learning and career development metrics to senior leadership to showcase the effectiveness of the programs and the overall impact on performance and progression. Lead and mentor a small team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance on program development, delivery, and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging innovation and creativity in training and development initiatives. Education & Experience
Degree or post graduate qualifications in Education, Human Resources or Organisational Development. 10+ yearsaEUR(TM) experience in designing, implementing and evaluating enterprise-wide learning programs. Knowledge of LMS platforms and other learning technologies (e.g., AI driven learning). An understanding of what underpins a skills-based approach to learning and development. Experience in working across a culturally diverse workforce. Work experience within the aviation sector or related industry or in the GCC region highly advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
