Joining our team to manage the continuing airworthiness of our fleet, we are looking for:

Senior Manager - Engineering

Your Role

As Senior Manager - Engineering, you will report to Head of Engineering and Maintenance and will be responsible for the Continuing Airworthiness Management activities on the beOnd fleet.

You will:

• Provide leadership and direction to ensure high standard of performance by the Engineering department.
• Develop or create and amend, when necessary, all procedures, manuals and guidelines for your department. Control the distribution of these procedures and manuals to relevant parties and ensures that all Engineering personnel comply with its provisions.
• Ensure appropriate action is taken in order to comply with applicable and relevant service bulletins received from OEMs and ADs from regulatory authorities
• Ensure effective communication with Aircraft manufacturers, OEM's, Vendors, Customers and other companies where necessary.
• Collaborate with all internal & external stakeholders to ensure that all activities are accomplished to the highest standards of airworthiness and workmanship.
• Manage and supervise the filing of relevant aircraft documentation.
• Represent BEOND before the regulatory authority on engineering matters.
• Develop & implement an effective technical training program management for Engineering department & maintain appropriate training records.
• Continuously monitor the adequacy of the Engineering procedures and report any shortfalls to Head of Engineering and Maintenance.
• Managing costs and controlling the budget for Engineering department.
• Assess Engineering personnel for competency and remedy weaknesses identified in their knowledge, skills and attitude.
• Assist Head of Engineering and Maintenance in the review of contracts on periodic basis.
• Carry out any other assignment as directed by the Head of Engineering & Maintenance.
• Ensure adequate infrastructure and facilities exist to perform the operations in a safe manner.
• Ensure personnel report all hazards, accidents and incidents. Carryout risk assessments on all hazards reported pertaining to Engineering matters.
• Participate in audits, and ensure all non-compliances are addressed with RCA & Corrective actions.
• Promotion of safety culture in their departments through training and awareness.
• Continuously seek ways to improve SMS.

Your Profile:

Ideally, you have

• Excellent management and communication skills.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in CAMO with minimum of 3 years in a management/supervisory role.
• Experience of 5 years on Airbus A320 family is mandatory.
• Currently hold or previously held a part-66 license with A320 family type rating/ first class Engineering degree.
• NPH experience is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations ( EASA Ops, Part M , Part 21 , Part 145 etc)
• Familiarity with business skills relating to Engineering operation, i.e., budgeting, cost control, labor allocation, parts and inventory management.
• Proficient in MS Office suite; Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.

This role will initially be based in Dubai, UAE; with a tentative move to Male, Maldives.
