Our client, a large government entity in the UAE, is currently looking to hire an M&A professional in the energy sector. This position will lead and oversee investment origination, execution, and monitoring efforts, including financial modeling and analysis.

Role:

? Continuously scan the external environment to identify opportunities for both greenfield and brownfield investments, in line with the established Investment strategy.
? Develop and maintain a network of external stakeholders, in order to timely signal potential investment opportunities for the client.
? Support the preparation, review and challenging of relevant documents prior to Investment Committee submissions, in order to facilitate effective investment decision making.
? Lead financial modelling and valuation analyses efforts, to support the execution-stage of Merger & Acquisition deals.
? Lead key investment transaction-related workstreams by managing investment projects on a day-to-day basis and leading sell/buy due diligence activities, in line with industry best practice and client\'s own internal standards.
? Oversee the transaction execution by coordinating day-to-day work amongst other Team members, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with internal and external partners, according to the established transaction execution plan.

Requirements:

? 12+ years of relevant experience in energy investment from a leading investment bank or PE firm
? Bachelor\'s degree in Finance; CFA / MBA / CA would be advantageous
