Senior Manager Development - Centre of Excellence - MAF Properties Dubai
Position Overview
Majid Al Futtaim Properties is seeking a Senior Development Manager to join its Centre of Excellence at the Head Office in Dubai. This strategic leadership role will oversee master planning, architectural and landscape consultants, and ensure project success through coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in real estate development, feasibility analysis, and project lifecycle management within the Gulf region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage master planning, architectural, and landscape consultants across high-profile real estate projects
• Define and implement development strategies, including site visioning, product positioning, and long-term planning
• Collaborate with Project Management teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery aligned with corporate standards
• Author and maintain comprehensive project business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and feasibility analysis
• Prepare and present board-level reports, investor presentations, and stakeholder updates for ongoing developments
• Determine optimal product mix for each project to maximize market relevance and return on investment
• Act as the key liaison between internal departments including sales, marketing, finance, and legal, ensuring alignment across all project components
• Engage with government authorities and regulatory bodies to secure permits and strategic development approvals

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or Engineering; MBA or PMP certification is advantageous
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in large-scale real estate or master development projects
• Proven track record in masterplanning and consultant coordination across the Gulf region (Dubai experience preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Estate Master, and other real estate financial modeling tools
• Strong knowledge of real estate finance, corporate governance, project feasibility, and design-to-execution workflows
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders
