Senior Manager - Demand Planning | MAF Retail | Head office UAE
ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager - Demand Planning is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's global demand planning operations. The role holder will provide strategic direction, ensure accurate forecasting, and drive optimization of demand planning processes.
ROLE PROFILE

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for global demand planning operations, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of demand planning managers, analysts, and specialists across different regions.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the accuracy and effectiveness of demand planning operations.
• Oversee the end-to-end demand planning process, including data analysis, statistical modeling, forecasting techniques, and demand sensing.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather market insights, historical data, and other relevant information for demand forecasting.
• Monitor and analyze demand patterns, market trends, and customer behavior to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust forecasts accordingly
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of the demand planning team and implement development plans to enhance skills and competencies.
• Continuously improve demand planning tools, systems, and processes to drive automation, scalability, and accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of demand planning, forecasting, or related roles within the retail industry, including managing global operations.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning methodologies, statistical modelling techniques, and data analysis
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and lead crossfunctional teams.
