Job Description

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing and administering the contract with the Material Handling System (MHS) supplier during the construction phase of the new cargo terminal project. This role will ensure that the supplier delivers on contractual obligations, adheres to performance standards, and aligns with project timelines and budget. Acting as the key liaison between the MHS supplier and internal stakeholders, the Contracts Manager will monitor compliance, manage changes and claims, and resolve issues to support smooth execution of the contract. Accountabilities

Manage and administer the MHS supplier contract throughout the construction phase, ensuring compliance with terms, schedules, and deliverables. Maintain and update all contract documentation, including amendments, variations, and approvals, in alignment with corporate policies and legal standards. Act as the main point of contact between the MHS supplier and internal project stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Monitor supplier performance, assess delivery against contractual commitments, and facilitate regular performance review meetings. Identify, assess, and mitigate contract-related risks, including potential delays, cost overruns, and quality issues. Lead negotiation and resolution of disputes, claims, or performance issues with the MHS supplier, ensuring timely and fair outcomes. Track and verify supplier invoicing, payments, and financial claims, ensuring compliance with contractual financial terms. Support budget monitoring and forecasting by providing analysis of contract costs and supplier performance. Prepare and deliver regular reports on contract status, risks, variations, and financials to senior management and project leadership. Maintain organized records of all contract correspondence, decisions, approvals, and issues for audit and reference. Ensure contract execution aligns with legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance standards. Monitor and support quality control processes to ensure MHS delivery meets design specifications and project requirements. Conduct site inspections or attend site meetings as needed to verify supplier compliance and progress. Collaborate closely with the Head of Cargo Terminal Program, construction and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of the MH. Liaise with procurement, legal, and finance departments to resolve issues related to contract terms, supplier payments, or policy compliance. Education & Experience

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; masteraEUR(TM)s preferred. Proven experience in contract management for construction and engineering projects; cargo terminal experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts law, and project management processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing supplier relationships, performance monitoring, and resolving issues. Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities. Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite. #J-18808-Ljbffr
