JOB TITLE: Senior Manager - Construction (Offshore)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fully accountable for the budget of construction resources allocated for the project.
  • The CM works to a 6 month look ahead schedule and supports the construction contractors by removing constraints, assist in the development of their construction schedule, agrees to a construction sequence (path of construction), and confirms that the contractors have the materials, engineering deliverables, tools, and resources required for successful execution and complete delivery within the required time frame.
  • Follow up the mobilization, site staffing, heavy lift sequencing, fabrication scope, laydown requirements, equipment and fabricated items delivery sequencing, equipment and tool requirements, demobilization, etc.
  • Verify the Subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s execution plan at an early stage and approve only if it aligns with Petrofac deliverables (documents and materials).
  • Challenge Subcontractor for a more efficient execution plan in line with schedule, safety and quality requirements.
  • Participates in project model reviews and constructability reviews and provide necessary inputs.
  • Conducts Kickoff meeting with sub-contractor and review/approve all subcontractor documentation.
  • Prepare 90 days and 3-weeks look-ahead plans and implements work in agreed sequence.
  • Generates regular progress reports for review by project management.
  • Monitors subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s performance and contributes to project evaluation and close-out reports.
  • Strong advocate for quality construction installations and ensuring that things are constructed in the right way, the first time, in adherence to project and corporate quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Manage the construction team creating an atmosphere of cooperation and team spirit.
  • Capable to find solutions for all Site Technical Queries raised by subcontractors and resolve.
  • Maintains good working relations with subcontractors and client throughout the project.
  • Coordinates with Completions team and handover completed work in agreed sequence.
  • Capable to provide construction inputs to proposals team.
  • Prepare for Hook up Campaign during execution phase well ahead of the loadout.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Candidate should have minimum 15 years of extensive working experience in offshore fabrication Yards with a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering.
