Job Purpose Involves overseeing the consolidation process of Financial data from subsidiary entities, managing relationships with subsidiary Finance teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards, and providing Financial analysis and reporting support to senior management and stakeholders. Roles, Responsibilities, Duties Consolidation of Financial Data Lead the consolidation of Financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for Modon Hospitality and its subsidiaries. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated Financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of consolidated financial statements, management and treasury reporting to Modon Holding. Coordinate with subsidiary Finance teams to collect Financial data, reconcile intercompany transactions, eliminate intercompany balances, and adjust for any consolidation adjustments. Subsidiary Relationship Management (SRM) Serve as the primary point of contact for subsidiary Finance teams, fostering positive relationships and effective communication channels. Collaborate with subsidiary Finance teams to ensure alignment of accounting policies, procedures, and reporting formats with group standards. Provide guidance and support to subsidiary Finance teams on consolidation matters, including technical accounting issues, system implementations, and process improvements. Financial Control and Compliance Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal control procedures in the consolidation process. Implement and maintain effective controls and processes to mitigate Financial risks associated with consolidation activities. Assist in the preparation of Financial disclosures and footnotes for consolidated Financial statements, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Financial Analysis and Reporting Analyze consolidated Financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management reporting and decision-making purposes. Prepare consolidated management reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate Financial performance and insights to senior management and stakeholders. Coordinate and provide support for external Audit activities related to standalone and consolidated Financial statements, including preparing Statements, Audit schedules and addressing Auditor inquiries. Process Improvement and Efficiency Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in the consolidation process to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. Implement changes to consolidation procedures, systems, and workflows to streamline processes and reduce manual efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to leverage technology solutions for enhanced consolidation and reporting capabilities. Team Leadership and Development Lead a team responsible for consolidation and SRM accounts, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability within the team to drive performance excellence and career growth. Qualification: A bacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), equivalent certifications. Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), Master of Science in Finance (MSF), or a related degree is preferred. Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in accounting, Financial reporting, or related roles. Competencies: Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, consolidation techniques, and Financial reporting standards. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous. Consolidation Skills: Proficiency in consolidation software/tools and hands-on experience in consolidating Financial data from multiple subsidiaries into group Financial statements. Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret consolidated Financial data, identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide meaningful insights to management. Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated leadership capabilities to lead a team responsible for consolidation and SRM accounts, including providing direction, coaching, and performance management. Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with subsidiary Finance teams, senior management, and external stakeholders. Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and execute consolidation projects effectively, including setting priorities, managing timelines, and allocating resources to meet deadlines and deliverables. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills to address complex consolidation issues, reconcile discrepancies, and make informed decisions to ensure accurate and compliant Financial reporting. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in consolidation processes, Financial analysis, and reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
