Senior Maintenance Manager GG13 Location: Tabuk, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES The Hawk Senior Maintenance Manager - Future Capability & Support (FC&S) is responsible to the KFAB Hawk Head of Maintenance for all aspects of Hawk maintenance and ensuring the Pt 145 has all resource available to ensure availability and capability of the fleet (including GBTS) is sufficient to maintain the contractual requirements of the O&AT programme at King Faisal Air Base (KFAB).

· The role is key to delivering BAE Systems SDT Customer, Company and Legislative/Regulatory requirements. Failure to perform has a direct impact on the Company's reputation and ability to deliver its commitments. Specifically, The Hawk SMM (FC&S) is responsible for: · Ensuring that KFAB meets its contractual requirement to sustain Fully Mission Capable (FMC) rates at, or above, the levels detailed in the agreed Statement of Work (SOW). · Ensuring that sufficient aircraft and GBTS are made available to meet the KFAB Flying training programme, without compromising airworthiness or safety. · The KFAB lead for all future capability and non-recurring engineering programmes to ensure their fleet embodiment is effectively managed, whilst protecting training fleet availability. The Hawk SMM (FC&S) is accountable to KFAB Head of Maintenance for fulfilling the following main responsibilities: · Delivery of sufficient aircraft and GBTS, to meet the needs of the KFAB Flying Training Programme, with focus on balancing the needs of aircraft availability, whilst simultaneously maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness via rigid requirements compliance. KFAB lead for all aspects of ad-hoc technical programmes, including coordination with relevant stakeholders, to ensure their timely delivery in accordance with contractual commitments. · KFAB lead for all modification programmes managing key stakeholders across BAE Systems and the integration of the schedules whilst minimizing impact on the IFF schedule. Modifications are to include but are not limited to Saudi Hawk Display Team (SHDT), ADS-B, Target Tow, BAFA Mods, Batch 1 to Batch 2, Hawk T65A 64FI. · Proactively engaging with M&CA representatives to support the timely selection and recruitment of personnel, the oversight of KFAB induction and, where appropriate, ensuring competence development and career aspirations are aligned to the KFAB maintenance capability requirements. · Supporting the development of an effective Talent Management System which supports the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia Training Programmes and SN engineering development, together with succession planning to ensure the delivery of a safe, robust, compliant, customer focused, cost effective and sustainable training product · Provide support to, and deputize for the Pt145 nominated Form 4 and hold temporary delegation during times of absence. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Essential: Qualification: · A recognized qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent qualification acceptable to M&CA or, · Part 66 licensed (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA. Experience: · Have post qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training. · experience in a relevant management role. · Excellent leadership management skills and proven ability to supervise all levels of engineering personnel. · Extensive Air Sector company / industry knowledge · Military or civil aviation Form 4 holder. · A demonstrable understanding of competence frameworks. · Thorough understanding of company processes and procedures · Broad aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge. · Experienced - Certifying Technician and extensive BAE Systems supervisory
