Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):
Knowledge of basic engineering processes
Familiarity with international codes, standards and engineering practices
Must be familiar with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design
Technical analysis of engineering problems
Knowledge of Loss prevention engineering practices and economic principles, calculation metHead of the Departments, and industry fire and safety codes, standards and specifications, such as NFPA, OSHA, EPA, API and COMAH.
Knowledge and use of specific software such as PIPENET Sprinkler/Spray module, PHA-PRO-7, Shell FRED, PHAST, CIRRUS for Gas Dispersion or similar software. Knowledge in PHAST Risk for QRA studies and Fault Tree are desirable.
