Job Description

The Role

Supervisor / Export Local & International Documentation. o Prepare and process all necessary customs documentation for import and export shipments including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Entry, Delivery Orders, and Certificates of Origin. o Manage customs clearance activities through Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Customs, ensuring compliance with local regulations. o Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, port officials, and HFZA representatives to ensure smooth inbound/outbound logistics. o Coordinate with procurement and production teams to plan and track the arrival of raw materials and the dispatch of finished goods. o Handle documentation for bonded goods, temporary imports, and re-exports in line with free zone policies. o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs tariffs, HS code classifications, and duty exemptions applicable to manufacturing goods. o Monitor duty payments and customs charges; reconcile invoices for internal records and audits. o Ensure accurate record-keeping of all customs documentation for inspections or audits. o Advise internal teams on customs-related restrictions, compliance issues, and shipment schedules. o In-depth knowledge of UAE customs procedures, especially Hamriyah Free Zone and Sharjah Customs systems. o Strong experience using UAE trade portals such as Mirsal II, e-Mirsal, and HFZA's online systems. o Familiarity with Incoterms, HS Code classification, and free zone bonded procedures. o Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to coordinate across departments and with external stakeholders. o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.

Prepare DPC monthly statement and submit to accounts. o Import & Export Shipping Status Report. Key Internal Interfaces: o Logistics FG Team, Sales, Accounts & QA / QC (LAB) o Hamriyah Free Zone Customs.
