The Role
This opportunity is with a large Group Company into diversified businesses. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess and improve the business\' logistical processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate the physical flows of goods, information, and finances. \xe2\x80\xa2 Management of documents and able to manage the full process of transporting materials from UAE to KSA or other regions within GCC. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage fleet, schedule of trucks, timelines of delivery and full plan of each consignment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create reports based on analyses of performance data to help clients make strategic decisions about operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Recommend improvements in inventory management and control procedures to reduce costs and improve service levels. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with other departments within the organization to determine inventory requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and/or enhance monthly KPI supply chain reporting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate alternative approaches, prototype as needed, recommend solutions, create, and maintain architecture documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee efficiency efforts, including inventory control, transportation planning, product scheduling, and warehouse management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate risks and influences decisions regarding the flow of information and knowledge. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist a company\'s supply chain in becoming more efficient through reduced costs and increased revenue.

Requirements

• At least 8-10 years of experience within logistics. \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in business, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or similar. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven work experience in logistics planning/scheduling. \xe2\x80\xa2 Operational and strategic experience, well-networked with logistic vendors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Expertise and knowledge of transportation and logistics systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ideally, a candidate available immediately. \xe2\x80\xa2 This role is a one-year contract extendable.
