Position: Senior Linux Administrator

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 15,000 - 20,000/month

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize Linux-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux server administration, virtualization, automation, and security, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems (Oracle Linux 6-8, Red Hat, Ubuntu).

Plan and execute OS upgrades, system updates, and security patches.

Manage virtualization (VMware, OVM, OLVM) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Automate tasks using Ansible and scripting (Bash, Python).

Implement and monitor using tools like ELK Stack and LogRhythm.

Maintain Linux clusters, DR environments, and backup strategies.

Collaborate with InfoSec, audit, and cross-functional teams.

Prepare system documentation and compliance reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

5-7+ years of Linux system administration experience.

Proficiency in automation, scripting, and configuration management.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking concepts.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
