Senior Legal Manager/ Legal Director

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced senior legal to oversee the legal affairs of the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of

Dubai construction law, real estate regulations, and corporate governance

to ensure the company's projects and operations comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing strategic legal guidance to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with

UAE real estate laws, RERA regulations, Dubai construction laws, and corporate governance standards

. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including

construction agreements, joint ventures, lease agreements, and other corporate documents

. Manage legal risks associated with real estate development, land acquisition, and project financing. Liaise with

Dubai Land Department (DLD), RERA, and other relevant authorities

on regulatory matters. Handle litigation and dispute resolution, representing the company in legal proceedings when required. Ensure compliance with

Dubai Escrow account regulations

to safeguard project funds and maintain financial transparency. Providing strategic legal guidance to senior management and stakeholders. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes impacting the real estate and construction industry in Dubai. Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures. Oversee external legal counsel engagements and manage relationships with law firms.

Qualifications & Experience:

Law degree (LLB or equivalent)

from a recognised institution; additional legal certifications are a plus.

10+ years of legal experience

, with at least

4 years in the Dubai real estate and construction sector

. Strong expertise in

Dubai construction law, property law, and regulatory compliance

. Experience in managing corporate legal affairs for a large real estate developer. Exceptional contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution skills. Proven ability to handle complex legal matters and provide strategic business advice. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives. Bilingual candidates (Arabic & English) are preferred.
