Role Overview:

The Senior Legal Counsel - Real Estate Development will play a pivotal role in our client\xe2\x80\x99s continued growth, focusing on the legal aspects of real estate development projects from conception through completion. This individual will ensure that all projects comply with the applicable laws and regulations, and will lead the contracting process, offering strategic legal guidance to mitigate risks and navigate the challenges of the real estate market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the contracting process, including the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of contracts related to purchase agreements, leases, construction, and financing.

- Provide strategic legal advice on real estate and construction markets, focusing on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and legal implications of various business strategies.

- Guide the company through legal processes related to real estate development, including SPA drafting, attesting, and obtaining necessary authority approvals.

- Collaborate closely with all departments to ensure legal best practices are integrated into every aspect of the business.

- Actively contribute to the legal strategy for projects, particularly the ongoing hotel project, ensuring smooth launch and sales processes.

- Support the company\xe2\x80\x99s expansion in Dubai and potential future regions, adapting legal strategies to align with growth.

Requirements

- Extensive experience in the UAE/GCC region, preferably in real estate development & investment company, construction, or brokerage.

- Knowledgeable about luxury and high-cost real estate markets.

- Fluent in English and Arabic, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- A strong understanding of local regulatory bodies and compliance requirements.

- Demonstrated ability in interpersonal communication and management.

- Familiarity with UAE Federal AML, CTF, and CPF legislation.

- Ability to join within a 1-month notice period.
