Reporting to the META Head of Legal, you will effectively ensure legal conformity and be the point of contact for all legal matters in the META region. If you are an experienced, dynamic, and discreet Legal Counsel who can act as a trusted advisor on the legal aspects and have a strong stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s management; this role is for you.

Reporting to the META Head of Legal, you will effectively ensure legal conformity and be the point of contact for all legal matters in the META region. If you are an experienced, dynamic, and discreet Legal Counsel who can act as a trusted advisor on the legal aspects and have a strong stakeholder\xe2\x80\x99s management; this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Give accurate and timely counsel to functions in a variety of legal topics (such as company law, corporate governance, commercial law, litigation, etc.).
- Be a strategic legal advisor to stakeholders (functional heads, GMs) as a member of the local management team.
- Review, interpret and translate legal requirements and effectively communicating these to the business and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge on topics related to country specific regulations etc. Also, draft, negotiate and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the legal aspect of relationships.
- Openness to constantly revise, change, improvise and advise on matters related to local legal compliance.
- Day by day legal advice and support to the various departments
- Collaborating with internal and external counsels.
- 6 to 10 years of experience working in a multi-national, fast paced work environment ideally with expertise in META region, degree in law or related field of study.
- Trade law experience, also in corporate governance, commercial law, contracting and litigation subjects.
- Law firm and multinational company (FMCG, Luxury, beauty...) mixed experience is strongly preferred.
- Assertive, dynamic, team player, agile and decision maker with a strong ability to manage ambiguity, strong communication skills, and stakeholder management.
- English is mandatory; French and Arabic remains desirable.
