: Key responsibilities * Provide effective, reliable and user-friendly support, advice and assistance to senior managers within DPW GCC entities on legal matters affecting any aspect of DP World's business.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of legal documents (including joint venture agreements, concession agreements, management services agreements and agreements for acquisitions and disposals, M&A transactions), ensuring that legal requirements are met within such documents.
Identify and analyze legal issues arising in transactions and new projects. Make clear and commercially focused recommendations in respect of such issues. Manage the transactions and projects (including their implementation) from a legal perspective.
Maintain strong links with external legal counsel. Assist with the selection of appropriate external legal counsel for work that is to be outsourced. Manage external legal spend for projects for which the job holder has day to day responsibility.
Act as a liaison between the business units and external legal counsel. Provide external legal counsel with clear and explicit instructions. Oversee and review work carried out by external legal counsel.
Generally assist the VP Executive General Counsel in all matters across DPW GCC, and provide effective reporting to the VP Executive General Counsel.
Promote and demonstrate positive behaviors in harmony with DP World's values and culture.
Becoming part of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that information is shared and work along side other members of the legal team on specific projects as requested by the VP Executive General Counsel.
Manage, allocate tasks, supervise and provide knowledge and guidance to the direct reports, if any, and ensure that they are trained and evaluated on their performance.
Provide effective reporting to the VP Executive General Counsel.

Qualification: Essential Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Law from an accredited university in the UK, USA, Australia or New Zealand or any other English speaking nation. Desirable Qualification: Arabic Speaker and working experience in the middle east. Work Experience: Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience in an internationally recognized law firm and/ or a corporate legal department of a multinational company, preferably experience working in the Middle East Region in a role with relevant experience in the relevant business cluster. Ability to effectively negotiate legal issues and transaction documentation with counterparties. Technical skills required to perform the role: Knowledge of cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, and experience of managing transactions through to completion. Ideally, knowledge and experience of international infrastructure projects and Mergers & Acquisitions.
