Senior Joinery Draftsman

to join our dynamic technical team.

The ideal candidate must have

proven, hands-on experience in the Qatar market

and a strong background in architectural and interior fit-out joinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed Shop Drawings

and cutting lists for a wide range of custom joinery items including, but not limited to, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, wall panelling, doors, vanity units, and decorative elements. Translate architectural and interior design concepts/sketches into accurate, production-ready technical drawings using

AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

. Coordinate with the Design, Production, Site, and Project Management teams to ensure drawings are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with site conditions. Conduct

site visits

for accurate measurement and to resolve any technical discrepancies during installation. Ensure all drawings and materials comply with project specifications, Qatar Construction Standards (QCS), and relevant building codes. Manage the drawing revision process, maintaining an organized drawing log and ensuring all teams are working from the latest approved documents. Generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material specifications for procurement.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

Minimum

5+ years of experience

as a Joinery Draftsman, with significant experience in a reputable Fit-Out or Joinery company.

Essential:

Proven working experience in Qatar

is a must, with good knowledge of local project standards and supplier materials. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.

Expert proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D

is mandatory. Proficiency in other software (SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max) is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of various joinery materials (solid wood, veneer, MDF, laminates, hardware) and fabrication/installation processes. Exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a valid QID and NOC/Transferable Visa preferred.
