Senior IT Procurement Professional

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Procurement Professional to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT procurement, strong vendor relationships, and expertise in managing end-to-end procurement cycles within SAP (SAP MM). This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of procurement frameworks, contract management, and IT procurement best practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for IT products and services, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT principal vendors, distributors, and resellers.
• Oversee and negotiate AMC/AMS (Annual Maintenance Contract/Annual Maintenance Services) and SLA (Service Level Agreement)-based contracts.
• Utilize procurement frameworks such as the Kraljic Matrix and Mendelow Matrix to strategize and optimize procurement processes.
• Work with SAP MM (Materials Management) for procurement transactions, vendor management, and reporting.
• Leverage P2P (Procure-to-Pay) tools to streamline procurement operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, manage demand, and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments to support procurement decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in IT product and service procurement.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with IT principal vendors, distributors, and resellers.
• Expertise in managing complex IT procurement cycles and proficiency in SAP (SAP MM).
• Hands-on experience with AMC/AMS and SLA-based contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement frameworks such as the Kraljic Matrix and Mendelow Matrix.
• Proficiency in using P2P (Procure-to-Pay) tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Collaborative team player with a detail-oriented mindset.
