Position: Senior IT Pillar Technician External Position Title: Completions Management System IT Support Job Overview: McDermott’s Engineering IT department is looking for a Completions Management System IT Support resource Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Familiar with Completions Management System (CMS) application installation and infrastructure support requirements
- Experience with Co-Console version 18.1 or later preferred
- Experience with Omega PIMS R4 or ICAPS considered a plus
- Experience with software installation on servers
- Familiar with Citrix environment and publishing applications for use
- Familiar with Microsoft server configuration v2016 R2 or later
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues
- Can use the Windows Event Viewer to diagnosis hardware and software issues
- Can use McAfee Event Viewer to diagnosis anti-virus issues
- Can use the command (e.g., CMD) prompt to troubleshoot network issues
- Can troubleshoot database issues
- Familiar with SQL databases
- Experience with MSSQL 2016 to current
- Familiar with database administration and able to do the following
- Can perform database backups
- Can perform database restores
- Can run simple SQL scripts
- Familiar with the security groups in SQL
- Familiar with Microsoft SQL Studio Manager
- Ability to write SQL statements considered a plus
- Familiar with Windows domains and active directory security groups
- Familiar with network file shares
- Familiar with .BAT / PowerShell scripting experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with Mechanical Completions and/or Commissioning systems considered a plus
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience with software installation and application / infrastructure support
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Provide subject matter expertise on set-up, configuration, and use of Completions Management System (CMS)
- Set up, configure, and maintain the Completions Management System (CMS) based on corporate standards and client / contract requirements
- Ensure compliance with database set-up and configuration based on corporate standards and client / contract requirements
- Provide application support and information / guidance for the Site CMS Administrator and / or Super Users at the jobsite / fabrication yard based on corporate standards and client / contract requirements
- Provide in person / remote training, as required, for project team members on how to use the CMS based on their project role, corporate standards, and client / contract requirements
- Provide system / functional information to internal and external parties as necessary
- Coordinate with Site CMS Administrators and Super Users on tracking and resolving system issues, and escalating to Global McDermott CMS support when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Completions, Commissioning, and System Turnover
- Minimum of 5 years’ implementation and/or application support experience with CMS applications such as Co-Console, Omega PIMS R4, Go Completions, or ICAPS
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
