About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Senior IT Networking Specialist

to manage and maintain the company's network and communication infrastructure across all project sites and offices. The ideal candidate will ensure high network availability, security, and performance while supporting both on-premise and cloud-based systems.

This position requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain

LAN, WAN, VPN

, and wireless networks. Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure maximum uptime. Configure and manage

firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking devices

. Implement and enforce

network security policies

including access control, intrusion prevention, and threat mitigation. Support integration between

on-premise infrastructure and cloud environments

(AWS, Azure, etc.). Conduct

network health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning

. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and connectivity upgrades. Maintain up-to-date

network documentation, asset registers, and incident logs

. Develop and execute

preventive maintenance schedules

in line with SLAs. Provide

technical mentorship

and advanced troubleshooting support to junior IT staff. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the IT Manager or management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

.

8-10 years of experience

in network administration or infrastructure management. Strong understanding of

TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies

. Hands-on experience with

network security tools, monitoring systems, and firewall configurations

. Familiarity with

cloud networking (AWS, Azure)

and

virtualization technologies

. Professional certifications such as

CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent

preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
