We are looking for a Senior IOT Engineer to join the team! Responsible for developing IoT products by designing, implementing, and testing both hardware and software. From a hardware standpoint, electronic circuit design, integration, and implementation experience is essential. From a software standpoint, a solid understanding of programming is necessary for developing reliable firmware for devices produced internally and for integrating with third-party devices. The responsibilities will also include managing IoT and BE application development while providing ability in the whole software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, designing, and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for critical systems, and delivering high availability and performance. Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, implement, test, and debug IoT hardware and software.
Understands the current market trends and has a good network with hardware vendors and suppliers.
Develop an end-to-end solution and work on a framework with the right vendors.
Identifying the compatibility between various hardware components, OEM specifications, and their integration.
Participate in innovation and product roadmap workshops.
Foster teamwork and good communication among team members.
Proactive in finding ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
Provide technical support to end-users from different departments
Requirements
Expertise in smart sensors, wireless devices, and infrastructure protocols.
Strong understanding of communication interfaces and components such as serial, RS232, RS45, Modbus, WiFi, LAN, CAN, I2C, Bluetooth, RF, NFC, GPS, etc.
Strong knowledge of Network and Infrastructure protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, HTTP Rest API's, OMA, LWM2M, OCPP etc.
Hands-on skills with IoT devices such as IoT gateways, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, different types of sensors and etc.
Excellent knowledge of smart sensors, such as electronic, mechanical, sensing, and data acquisition, conditioning, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
Knowledge in implementing IoT Analytics solutions on various cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, such as circuit design, RF electronics design, simulation, test & measurement, and analysis.
Expertise in IoT devices, embedded C/C++ and Python programming.
An understanding of low power electronics design, architecture, and validation.
A working knowledge of digital, analog, and RF electronics testing equipment and methods.
Experience with Oculus Rift, IMUs for VR/AR, Leap motion technology, OpenCV, NodeRed etc.
Strong scripting language abilities using Python, C++, C and shell.
Working knowledge of embedded Linux systems and UNIX environments.
Background in the automotive industry and OBD is an advantage.
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Ability to learn and ramp up quickly on emerging technologies.
