Senior Investment Manager

Job Description

Our client is a leading entity in the Oil and Gas industry based in Abu Dhabi and is currently looking for a Senior Investment Manager to support their Corporate Development Team with their Mergers and Acquisitions activities and oversee growth strategies.

The Role:

The Senior Investment Manager is responsible for researching and analyzing market trends to identify potential M&A prospects for the company. They are responsible for investment origination, execution, and monitoring, including developing and presenting complex financial models and business cases, conducting due diligence, providing deal-related data, and drafting investment stream documentation, detailed placement memorandums and service tenders. They are also responsible for supporting the successful execution and integration of transactions by developing action plans for due diligence and preferred routes of approach.

Responsibilities:

- Supporting the company\'s merger and acquisition activities, from the initial evaluation stage to post-deal integration. This includes conducting industry research, coordinating due diligence meetings, reviewing business cases and financial models, and providing financial and business due diligence analysis

- Conduct financial and business due diligence of the acquisition targets\' financials, costs, operations, organization, sales, and customers

- Developing and maintaining financial models, researching, and analyzing deal execution risks, and supporting post-deal integration activities

- Support the Group Strategy Director in developing complex financial models and case presentations to support investment decision making

- Assisting in developing the company\'s annual financial plan, preparing scenario analyses on an ongoing basis, identifying and tracking key business KPIs in relation to strategy and various investment activities, and proactively identifying issues and opportunities to support the company\'s decision-making process in different strategies and investment activities

- Supporting the development of the integrated business plan for the company and participating in corporate transactions and long-term investment projects. Finally, the role involves collecting and providing key post-deal execution financial data to the group

Requirements:

-At least 6 years of experience in working on successful M&A transactions from start to finish
-Ideally in-house, banking, or advisory M&A sector experience in Oil and Gas industry
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
-Proficient research skills and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
-Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
-MBA and/or CFA preferred
