Role and Responsibilities

Manage the preparation of the Interior Design and finishes tender and construction documentation in accordance with DAMAC Design Standards and deliver in accordance with the agreed design stages and in accordance with the approved design programme.
Implement guidelines for executing Interior Design risk management activities for during design stages to deliver high quality Interior Design designs ensuring compliance with regulatory and HSE standards.
Overview all interior Design on allocated projects.
Monitor Interior Design plans, concepts, layouts and ensure they are in alignment with project specifications and project cost estimates on allocated projects.
Serve as the technical resource for all matters related to Interior Design and finishing design and construction quality by reviewing standards, specifications and drawings on allocated projects.
Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical & structural.
Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of change work order, designs and drawings submittals and propose appropriate solution from the Interior Design and finishing perspective.
Assist in design stage negotiations with consultants and/or contractors regarding project overview, project status, value of claims or changes in designs and drawings and prepare recommendations on claims where requested.

Qualifications

10 plus years in Interior Design management on high end hospitality or residential projects.
Bachelors degree in ID or Architecture.
