Title : Senior Intelligence Advisor/Office Manager Grade: 5 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The Senior Intelligence Advisor/Office Manager reports directly to the RSAF Director of Operational Intelligence for tasking on RSAF (J2) Operational Intelligence business and direction The Senior Intelligence Advisor will provide direct and impartial advice to the Director of Operational Intelligence and all of his Staff. The Senior Intelligence Advisor will provide Customer Support liaison on all Operational Intelligence issues. Liaise with customer I end user representatives to establish a common understanding of the military context for the J2 Operational intelligence capability and requirements. Manage and lead the development of Intelligence training Doctrine and CONOPS within a Customer team. Lead the development and review of Standing Operational Procedures (SOPs) for the operational use of the Operational Intelligence systems within a Customer team. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Advisor to the RSAF J2 Operational Intelligence Committees when requested, responsible for guidance regarding current RSAF projects, including ISR, Alternative ISR projects & New ISR Projects, all J2 (Operational Intelligence) issues Advisor to the RSAF during contract negotiations with all major Operational Intelligence vendors Liaise with MODSAP/USMTM on behalf of the customer Manage direct tasking from RSAF Operational Intelligence Director on security and intelligence matters including:

Current Security Capabilities Security Advice J2 Recruitment Advice UAV & ISR and Operational Intelligence issues Design & Initiation of Intelligence Database Analysis Systems Training Development

Asses J2 Operational Intelligence training requirements and provide planning assistance Lead the development of training that will meet RSAF J2 Operational Intelligence training objectives as agreed by the Director of Intelligence. Lead J2 Operational Intelligence training development including specialist security training. Manage the provision of specialist security and J2 Operational Intelligence training. Provide first line management to an Operational Intelligence team (see organisational chart). Provide current and relevant military expertise by advising the customer of the optimum operational solutions based on current US or UK military procedures and best practice. Supporting the Customers Operational Intelligence System requirements at all levels. Provide primary communication and liaison between BAE Systems and the customer. Provide Security and Counter Terrorism advice to the Directorate of Security including recommendations, review and negotiation of new projects. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

Recent experience in a Joint Operations Centre in the J2 Role at the Strategic or Operational levels of command Experience in one or more of the following is preferable:

Development, assessment and validation of military doctrine Development, assessment and validation of SOPs Planning, implementation and delivery of Military Command Post Exercises and/or Wargames

Training of Users in operating J2 Operational Intelligence Systems Training at the organizational level in the use of J2 Operational Intelligence Systems Training Battle Staff in the utilization of J2 Operational Intelligence Capabilities Compiling or reviewing MOD architectures

Computer literacy including recent and relevant experience in the use of J2 software. Development and co-ordination of plans and the prioritization of activities as part of a team

Project management

Operational Experience within the Middle East will be an advantage An understanding of DoDAF/MoDAF and its application will be an advantage. Communication and people skills with:

Foreign, preferably Middle Eastern, Customers ii. Multi-disciplinary team working skills Ability to communicate effectively to RSAF at Director (General) level and to Company/MoDSAP at Executive/Director level. Willingness to travel (possible at short notice and for prolonged periods). Proven Leadership and Management experience
