TEAM Energy are seeking a Senior Instrument Designer for a new role in Dubai, UAE. This will be a 12 month contract, with potential for extension depending on the client needs. Location: Dubai

Full Description

• Diploma qualification or HND in instrument or Electronic Engineering.
• Offshore certification (BOSIET / IMIST).
• Senior Instrument Designer with minimum of 5 years in project execution of brownfield instrumentation and control modifications for Oil & Gas industry (Concept / FEED / Detail Design).
• Experience in preparation of all types of instrumentation design deliverables such as but not limited to Block Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, Loop Diagram, Schematics, Kook-ups, Schedules, MTO's, etc.
• Experience in review of vendor package drawings.
• Experience in carrying out site visits/surveys and provides input in to resultant survey reports.
• Coherent with all applicable industry standards.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Navisworks, Excel and Word
• Knowledge of site-based project working involving field engineering and construction.
• Should be pragmatic, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
• Good presentation skills.
• Expected to take ownership of issues and follow them through to completion.
• Willingness to interact directly with people.
• Ability to work in an organised and structured fashion, and within time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Work Location: Main Office; Contractor may be required to visit / perform related tasks on Client assets outside the Main Office Complex for which no extra compensation will be paid as it is calculated into the overall rate.
• Work Schedule: Minimum of 5 days per week / 9 hours per day (subject to change). Contractor is expected to work the hours necessary to complete the tasks on schedule, this may result in working extra hours for which no extra compensation will be paid as it is calculated into the overall rate.
