Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a security engineering role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management position.
• Strong technical knowledge of security technologies and systems, including cloud security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations national and international related to the field.
• Experience managing security incidents and investigations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of company assets, data, and systems, including cloud-based systems.
• Manage and lead a team of security professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to SOC analysts and EDR analysts.
• Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage security incidents, including response, investigation, and communication with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations national and international.
• Monitor security trends and emerging threats, and ensure the organization is prepared to respond to them.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external security organizations and stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met throughout the organization.
• Ensure the implementation and management of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, and EDR.
• Manage relationships with security vendors, ensuring they are delivering services that meet the organization\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
• Manage the SOC team, ensuring they are effectively detecting, analysing, and responding to security events.
• Conduct security tests using tools such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
