Adecco Middle East is looking for a Senior Network & Security Engineer for one of our reputed clients based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure Network & Security, compliance and will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud security principles.
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: 12 months extendable
Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions for Azure-based applications, systems, and networks.
• Configure and manage Azure security services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Azure DDoS protection, and Azure Firewall.
• Monitor Azure resources for security issues and investigate potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents, perform forensics analysis, and take appropriate corrective action.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that security is designed into new applications and systems.
• Keep abreast of new Azure features and services, and assess their security implications.
• Write and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Train other staff members on Azure security best practices.
• Perform regular audits of Azure resources to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Investigate and resolve security concerns raised by internal and external customers.
• Assist with the development of Azure-based disaster recovery plans.
• Provide expert level guidance on Azure security to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years in an IT security-related role
• 3+ years of experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS.
• Should have experience in Azure Network and Security architecture and implementation.
• Should have experience in On-prem Network and Security architecture and implementation.
• Experience with network and application security
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, including authentication, authorization, confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, and availability
• Working knowledge of security compliance standards, such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, etc.
• Hands-on experience with security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, etc.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Azure Security Engineer certification
• CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certification
