Wood is presently inviting application of Senior Instrumentation Engineeers (SPI Administration) for our Abu Dhabi Engineering team.
Responsibiliites
Setting up SPI projects and software on server and user Computers
Mainly responsible for \xe2\x80\x9cTechnical Support\xe2\x80\x9d for all projects as an SPI Administrator
Act directly under the Department manager for assurance of technical capability
Maintain up to date knowledge of industry practice and new developments in the industry related to respective area(s) of expertise
Contribute to the department / discipline body of knowledge in respective area(s) of expertise
Participate / responsible for SPI Audit, Database handover, Audit action point closeouts FAT and SAT of database handover
SPI - Project setup, archival / retrieval, work automation through SQL / Oracle
Training others, user resolution. Estimation for administration hours. Sever / Client software installation
Oracle and MS SQL Express installation, setup, user creation
SPI Information maker software customization with SPI software
Skills / Qualifications
Essential Skills
Capable to work as Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer whenever demand arises for FEED and detailed design deliverables such as data sheets, MR, TBE, VDR, Modification SOW etc
Fully coherent in all international codes and standards.
Manage SPI Audits
Essential Criteria
Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline
At least 10+ Years plus experience with instrumentation in the Oil & Gas environment
7 years minimum experience of using SPI software as administrator
5 projects (at least 3 Detail design) minimum executed as SPI Administrator
Personal Attributes
Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn / Flexible with a can-do attitude
Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams
Experience of working in the Middle East / ADNOC would be an advantage
Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
