Purpose of the Role

This senior role is responsible for leading the HR function of the organisation with accountability for the development of the HR strategy supporting sustainable organisational growth and operations across all global offices / jurisdictions including: developing, managing and delivering employee and team development and performance; compensation and benefits administration; organisational development and effectiveness; establishing and implementing employment policies and talent acquisition initiative; and supporting the CEO, company Directors and Practice Managers in the care, development and growth of our global team. Ultimately, the purpose of the role is to ensure that the company attracts, hires, develops, cares for and retains excellent employees.

The Role in Short

The Senior Human Resource Manager will report to the CEO, work with the Directorial team and liaise with our Practice/Office Managers in the relevant global offices to execute their responsibilities. This role would suit an experienced Human Resources professional who is looking for an exciting opportunity to work with an exceptional team at a growing global company of ca. 70 permanent staff and ca. 30 long-term associates in an inspiring industry. This is a full-time permanent position based in our Dubai office with flexibility of remote working per the Company\xe2\x80\x99s FlexibleWorking Policy.

An excellent standard of spoken and written English is essential, the candidate must be able to independently draft well written policies, contracts, letters and HR documents, and thoroughly review employee contracts. Professional proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.

It is expected that the successful candidate will be familiar with, or would make themselves familiar with, the labour laws and HR statutory requirements in each of the global locations of our employees and would ensure we are meeting all statutory requirements for those in our employ. Essential for this role is demonstrable experience in developing, leading and delivering successful Human Resources initiatives including learning and development outcomes alongside a positive and enthusiastic attitude, a genuine care for seeing people develop, achieve and gain satisfaction from their careers, and the ability to work independently and flexibly to deliver high quality, efficient and effective work. Experience of working with highly specialised teams is essential. Experience from the creative or cultural sector is desirable.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience with proven experience of leading an HR function for a global, medium-size, growth stage organisation.
