Job Description

* Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilities. * Conduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards. * Review engineering designs and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations. * Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in the UAE. * Provide technical advice and guidance to other HSE professionals and line managers. * Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and address non-conformities.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

* Strong understanding of relevant UAE and international HSE regulations (e.g., ADNOC, API). * Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills * Proficiency in HSE software applications. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. * Sound training and presentation skills * Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems. * Proven experience of conducting safety skills and awareness training programs.

Requirements

* Class 1 Consultant and/or Contractor experience. * Profound familiarity with ADNOC group standards. * Previous experience as a Lead Engineer in a project or department. * Excellent understanding of Process Safety. * Good understanding of Environmental Safety & Occupational Safety. * Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis. * Preference will be given to candidates approved by regulatory bodies or OPCOs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

* 10+ years relevant experience is required * Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas industry at engineer level * Preference for candidates who have experience in ADNOC group of companies * Qualification (minimum) - Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
