• Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas industries.

• Good knowledge of all HSE Management system and company standards and local and international legislation.

• Direct experience and proficiency with HSE Management Systems and HSE requisites such as Risk Assessments, Audits, Inspections, and Procedures.

• Good knowledge in Drilling Operation activities, Drilling Emergencies, and Rig site specific safety plans.

• Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.

• Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.

• Good Knowledge about HSE Studies and their requirements Behavioral Competencies Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction and as part of a larger team. Ability to investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes.

• Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.

• Ability to manage multiple contracts and contractors of various natures

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent qualification (Preferably Chemical / Mechanical/ Environmental)

• Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate or Equivalent in Oil and GAS Qualifications.

• More than 5 years of experience, of which at least 3 years in a similar position in the HSE function, preferable in the oil & gas industry.

• Minimum 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in executing HSEIAs and Safety studies associated with offshore operations/installations.

• The Senior HSE Engineer shall have responsibilities of planning and leading the development, management, and effective implementation of Company/Department HSE objectives and targets across all the projects and ensure the compliance of statutory requirements
