They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer (Modem) \xe2\x80\x93 SATCOM to be responsible for designing and implementing the Advanced Modem Technology product hardware. Key Accountabilities for the Senior Hardware Engineer (Modem) \xe2\x80\x93 SATCOM
- Lead the team of hardware engineering
- Define and validate the best architecture for the hardware design (components selection, detailed design, etc..)
- Work jointly with FPGA/DSP team to optimize the product hardware design and development
- Gather, articulate and breakdown the product requirements to achieve hardware detailed design (from initial design to boards layout and product prototyping and up to product manufacturing)
- Is responsible for the early-stage hardware manufacturing and integration, define and implement test and validation strategy
- Contribute to new technology assessment and testing to support new product developments
- Expertise in hardware architecture design (Digital and analog electronics, power and RF)
- Solid experience in full design cycle (specs, components selection, schematics, detailed design and associated documentation, layout)
- Solid experience in hardware design, PCB design tools (CAD, Cadence, Altium, etc..)
- Solid experience in digital board integration and validation (layout optimization, EMC, thermal, power, etc..)
- PhD or MSc in Electrical, Electronics, digital signal processing and/or wireless Communication Engineering
- English \xe2\x80\x93 Berlitz Level 8, IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 550 or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in the field of hardware architecture design and implementation
- 3+ years of experience in wireless communications
