Senior Handyman - Dubai (JLT Area)

Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai

6 days per week (1 weekday off)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced

Senior Handyman

to join our operations team. This role combines hands-on technical work with responsibility for maintaining the safety, functionality, and presentation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-trade skills and the ability to manage day-to-day maintenance, minor renovations, and repair work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair work in

carpentry, masonry, gypsum, painting, electrical, plumbing, and AC systems

. Conduct

preventive maintenance

to ensure optimal equipment and facility performance. Carry out

minor renovations, installations, and finishing work

as needed. Respond promptly to

urgent maintenance or repair requests

. Supervise and guide junior maintenance staff; coordinate with external vendors when required. Maintain

inventory records and supply lists

using basic Excel or similar tools. Ensure all work complies with

safety standards and building regulations

.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum

5 years of experience

in a handyman or maintenance role. Strong technical skills in

carpentry, masonry, gypsum, painting, electrical, and AC maintenance

. Familiarity with

basic Excel

for inventory tracking and reporting. Knowledge of

safety procedures

and preventive maintenance practices. Good communication and organizational skills. Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.

Driver's license preferred

.

Additional Details

Must be willing to

work 6 days per week

with one weekday off.

Standby availability

required for emergency maintenance requests. Candidates living

in or near JLT

are strongly preferred due to on-call requirements.
