Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :

Provide expert personal care services to guests, A Sr. Hair stylist provides beauty services such as Wash Hair & dry & apply colour, blow dry with finishing, hair trim, treatment, Add hair Extension Clips cut fringe hair half up style, hair up, curling, Hair up and Bridal. She helps not only with the application of treatments but also with advising and recommending appropriate services via guest consultations. She is also involved with providing a more comprehensive treatment to her guests. She is expected to offer to her guests a beverage and provide movements after the service to create a more luxurious experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Analyze guest's hair and other physical features to determine and recommend beauty treatment or suggest hair styles depending on their skin, hair condition.

apply health or sanitation standards

cut or permanently wave hair, colour, style, treatments etc.

maintain appointments timing

follow guest instructions

use of hair or cosmetic instruments

Demonstrate and sell hair care products and cosmetics.

Shampoo, rinse, condition and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions.

Cut, trim and shape hair or hairpieces, based on guests' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors etc and all tools required.

Attend all trainings provided and follow instructions.

Apply water, setting, straightening or waving solutions to hair and use curlers, rollers, hot combs and curling irons to press and curly hair.

Keep work stations clean and sanitize tools such as scissors and combs.

Comb, brush, and spray hair or wigs to set style.

Develop new styles and techniques.

Bleach, dye, or tint hair, using applicator or brush.

Consultation, Applies colour (does not mix colours except if the senior hair stylist or Artistic Director writes for her the consultation card with the mixing formula or can do roots colour if the consultation card from earlier visit is available) & blow dry with finishing & trim & up-style & keratin

Update and maintain guest information records, such as beauty services provided.

Administer therapeutic medication and advise patron to seek medical treatment for chronic or contagious scalp conditions.

Massage and treat scalp for hygienic and remedial purposes, using hands, fingers, or vibrating equipment.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS :

Education :

High school or equivalent

Vocational training certificate

Passionate about guest service

Be positive and spread happiness

Able to speak and write English

Good communication and people skills, including good listening skills

An understanding of hygiene, and health and safety regulations

Time management skills

Ability to handle pressure and stress

Expert in Mani/Pedi

Good Work Habits and discipline

Good team player but can work independently

Excellent Personal Grooming

Be able to surprise the guest with outstanding service

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services. This includes guest needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of guest satisfaction.

Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.

Experience :

Preferable 5 year experience working as a Hair Stylist locally or abroad

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month

Experience:

* Hairstylist: 3 years (Preferred)
