Job Description

The Senior Hairstylist is responsible for providing advanced hair services, leading the salon's hair team, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. The role includes performing haircuts, coloring, styling, treatments, and offering expert consultations while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:1. Hair Services

Perform advanced haircuts for women, men, and children. Provide expert hair coloring, highlights, balayage, ombre, root touch-up, and color corrections. Execute professional hairstyling, blow-dries, curls, updos, and event hairstyles. Deliver hair treatments including keratin, protein, Botox, and scalp treatments. Assess client hair conditions to recommend suitable services and products.

2. Client Consultation

Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients' preferences and hair goals. Provide professional advice on hairstyles, color selection, and treatments. Offer aftercare instructions and product recommendations.

3. Leadership & Team Support

Mentor and guide junior hairstylists and assistants. Ensure quality control and consistency in services delivered by the hair team. Assist in training staff on new techniques, trends, and hair care practices. Support management in implementing service standards.

4. Hygiene & Safety

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, tools, and workstations. Follow all salon hygiene and health regulations. Ensure safe use of chemicals, color products, and electrical tools.

5. Sales & Promotion

Promote hair services, packages, and retail products. Contribute to achieving salon sales and service targets. Recommend personalized hair care routines to clients.

6. Operational Responsibilities

Manage appointment schedules efficiently. Report stock shortages and assist with product inventory. Support the salon team in daily operations when needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Certification in Hairdressing / Cosmetology. Minimum 5 years of experience in hairdressing, with strong expertise in advanced coloring and styling in UAE Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong knowledge of hair products, treatments, and current trends. Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
