The Senior GPD Executive will own the product development process for the Production site, working in close partnership with GPD Hubs, CPD, Pricing and CPL to ensure timely and efficient product set up through first order readiness. Senior GPD Executive plays a key role in elevating our customer\xe2\x80\x99s brands by leading the development of creative, innovative branding solutions for apparel brand owners and retailers. This position provides deep product expertise within a given product line by bringing insights, solutions, and options to the Supply Chain and OPS Team.

Activities and duties will vary depending upon the functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Act as the product development expert, demonstrating comprehensive technical knowledge for a given product line.
• Execute the local item set-up through global artwork/spec repository in coordination with global GDP Hub
• Support re-engineer efforts during quotation and production.
• Ensure local manufacturing receives all elements to achieve quality and lean production process (specs, color standards, work instructions)
• Administer product sampling and test orders.
• Support production to drive troubleshooting with first orders.
• Liaise between GPD Hubs and Global Sampling & Product Deployment hubs to deploy new items to production
• Remain current on industry trends and product innovations to effectively partner with GPD Hub in leveraging Avery Dennison solutions

• Work independently with Sales on new item development and item revision. Manage global programs with cross functional teams to ensure a timely and successful rollout.
• Calculate and collect global prices as required. Perform global margin analysis when needed by management.
• Work with the Sampling team to deliver qualified samples on a timely basis.
• Deploy approved items to global manufacturing units with required standards to ensure global consistency.
• Sufficient understanding of the new technology/solution & its application.
• Describe pain points from daily operations and provide suggestions to avoid the problem
• Professional advisor to customers. Understand responsible Retail Brand performance and drive improvement to support business growth.
• Support other tasks assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Designer, Industrial Engineer or related field
• 3 years of experience in product development areas, in manufacturing companies, management of International customers, in terms of product development, pricing, technand ical support. Apparel, Packaging or Graphic industry desired.
