Senior Fund Accountant - Alternative Funds

:

The principal responsibility for the position is the coordination and management of all administration functions relating to a specific group of clients. Responsibilities will include:

\xef\x81\xae Review of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) files for a variety of Private Equity funds, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedures

\xef\x81\xae Review of annual financial statements

\xef\x81\xae Calculation and processing of fund capital calls and distributions

\xef\x81\xae Assist in the preparation and completion of the audit process for assigned relationships

\xef\x81\xae Investor onboarding including AML/KYC documents review

\xef\x81\xae Assist in staff collaboration and ensure that client deliverables are being met

\xef\x81\xae Responsible for the consistency and accuracy of assigned relationships

\xef\x81\xae Submission of regulatory and tax filings on behalf of clients

\xef\x81\xae Regular interaction with clients, fund directors and other relevant parties

\xef\x81\xae Assist management with MIS reporting

Applicants should possess (as a minimum):

\xef\x81\xae A detailed understanding of Private Equity and other close ended fund structures and the fund administration industry

\xef\x81\xae A detailed understanding of regulatory requirements

\xef\x81\xae 5-10 years\' experience in fund accounting and a professional degree in accounting or finance

\xef\x81\xae Knowledge of e-Front preferred

\xef\x81\xae An ability and desire to work to tight deadlines

\xef\x81\xae An ability to multi-task and manage projects

\xef\x81\xae Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other stake holders

\xef\x81\xae Excellent organisational skills

\xef\x81\xae Excellent communication skills
