The Middle East Engineering Services business requires a Senior FP&A Analyst to support the Regional Finance Director in all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful business.
Key Responsibilities would be:
Define, implement and marshal the internal management financial reporting calendar for Middle East business;
Coordinate with ME finance business partners in particular, and business leads in general, in collecting and consolidating all requested data into high quality outputs;
Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, including variance analysis vs Budget/Forecast, results commentaries and other ME & Group returns;
Prepare budget/forecast models for the ME businesses, consolidate quarterly/annual budgets and forecasts and prepare related commentaries & analysis.
Work closely with ME Finance Shared Services to assist with audits (internal and external) and statutory & tax compliance requirements.
Key point of contact for all other Middle East business support functions\xe2\x80\x99 financial matters;
Support the Regional Finance Director with ad-hoc initiatives and reports;
Lead in driving business operational improvement projects and in setting up a strong control environment and promote good financial practices
Monitor compliance to business Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
Technical Competencies
Essential
Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA or other recognised Accounting qualification
Minimum of 5 years experience in an FP&A environment;
Extremely high standard of efficiency in analysis;
Extremely high standard of report production (Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI);
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (knowledge of Data Modelling, PowerPivot and PowerBI tools is an advantage)
Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
Excellent communication in English (both written and oral)
Experience of interacting with multiple businesses and finance functions
Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment
Desirable
Prior experience working within an Engineering Consultancy business
Working knowledge of JD Edwards, Hyperion Finance Management (HFM), Smart View, Oracle and other IT systems and databases
Interest in data analytics;
