Senior Foreman
Job Description
The Senior Foreman oversees and coordinates on-site construction or manufacturing activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. They supervise skilled and unskilled workers, enforce safety protocols, and liaise with clients, suppliers, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily on-site operations and workforce activities.
Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Assign tasks to workers and monitor progress.
Inspect work for quality and compliance with standards.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers for resource planning.
Maintain safety standards and conduct safety briefings.
Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and labor hours.
Communicate progress and problems to management and clients.
Train and mentor junior staff and laborers.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification: High School Diploma or Trade Certification; additional technical training is preferred.
Experience: 5+ years in construction, manufacturing, or relevant industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
