Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions. As a Florist, you will be responsible for designing, arranging, and maintaining floral displays while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Floral Design & Arrangement:

Create floral arrangements for events, weddings, funerals, corporate clients, and everyday occasions. Design custom bouquets and centerpieces based on client specifications. Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques.

Customer Service:

Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their needs. Provide consultations for special events and occasions. Handle inquiries and process orders in-person, over the phone, and online.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain fresh stock of flowers, plants, and supplies. Place orders with suppliers and manage delivery schedules. Ensure proper care and handling of floral inventory to maximize freshness.

Shop Maintenance:

Keep the workspace, tools, and display areas clean and organized. Create and maintain attractive window and in-store displays. Handle cash register operations and maintain accurate sales records.

Marketing & Promotion:

Contribute to social media marketing by showcasing floral arrangements. Collaborate on promotional campaigns for holidays, weddings, and other events. Build and maintain relationships with regular and corporate clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a florist or floral designer. Strong creativity and an eye for design and color. Knowledge of flower care and maintenance techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy items. Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
