Job Description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Senior Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of our group companies in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in financial management, robust experience with VAT and corporate tax compliance, and proven leadership in managing finance teams. This role will play a critical part in providing strategic financial guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting business growth initiatives across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Oversee and consolidate the financial operations of all group companies in the UAE. Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic objectives. Ensure timely preparation and analysis of group-level consolidated financial statements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including accurate filing and timely submissions. Oversee corporate tax computations, filings, and ensure adherence to UAE Corporate Tax laws. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as needed.

ERP System Management:

Lead the optimization and continuous improvement of the Odoo ERP system across group entities. Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions within the ERP system. Train and guide finance teams on efficient use of ERP functionalities.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for operational and strategic needs. Manage banking relationships and optimize group-wide treasury operations.

People Management and Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across group companies. Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and best practices.

Strategic Support:

Support management in strategic planning, business analysis, and investment evaluations. Provide financial insights and risk assessments to enable informed business decisions.

Requirements:

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent). Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification hands-on experience in financial management and controlling, preferably within diversified or group structures. In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations. Strong experience with ERP systems, specifically Odoo. Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
