We have recently partnered up with a leading independent Global Private Equity and Venture Capital firm, who is seeking to get on board an experienced Finance Executive professional.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and review quarterly direct investment fund financial statements and related GP management report for LPs.
Oversee the audits of all direct investment funds and management funds.
Coordinate with outside legal counsel, fund administrator, PR agencies, auditor, banks, brokers.
Provide customized LP reporting, as required (KPIs for individual LPs).
Manage valuation processed.
Oversee LP onboarding (subscription, KYC, etc).
Manage compliance, risk, and ESG functions for fund.
Manage CRM and other software for deal flow, investor relations, and performance tracking.
Support investor relations (populate DDQ, data rooms, etc).
Manage the process all capital calls and distributions to the investors.
Manage all financing rounds for each new investment including: cap table review, term sheet and docs review working closely with the MDs responsible for the funds.
Prepare financial models and design all the internal reporting metrics necessary to monitor and manage the business operations of this unit.
Manage cash requirements for each fund to ensure that cash is always available for the investing programs and expense obligations of the funds.
Manage all expenses and manage wires (payments, investments, etc).
Coordinate on bank facilities.
Legal registrations for all fund entities (set up, annual reporting and certifications).
Oversee HR work (visas, performance reviews, recruiting, on boarding, expense management).
Requirements:
Experience in venture capital or private equity fund management.
Accounting or Finance degree required (ideally CPA).
Legal experience also highly prioritized.
Ideally sitting in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or Riyadh.
Fluent and written English. Arabic language capabilities a plus.
Extremely organized.
Hands on experience with working, training, and coaching staff.
